For the Studio
Maestro! and its companion products can be a terrific tool to help students explore music history:
• Students will often be inspired to play the music of a composer, once they have learned something about that composer’s life or listened to some of his/her works.
• The early years often attract students to a composer’s story: when he decided to compose, why he decided to compose, what struggles he faced.
• Students often find a common connection between themselves and a composer of interest. What better way to inspire a student’s musicianship than to show them how they are relatable to the masters?
Every studio is different. What works for some students does not for others. Some students will leave their early studio years bound for a career in music, while some will leave with music as a hobby. No matter the future, each student will certainly respect the rigor and commitment it takes to be an accomplished musician and a respect for the art of music, its history and place in culture.
Maestro! can help fill that educational niche.
